The trustees play an important and crucial role in the existence
of our chanty, and the posrtion carries a number of
responsibilities and can somets'mes be daunting for a volunteer
to take on. New trustees are made to feel like part of the
charrty. We provide a proper induction that will ensure that
they have a clear understsnding of the structure of the
provision and how rt operates, as well as their role and
responsibilib'es within it

Our seth.ng aims to provide high quality care and education for
children aged bebween 2 and 5. Vle work in partnership with
parents to help the children, and to add to the life and well-
being of the local Community.

We offer care and education by leaming through play for the
children of families within the Thomhill area of Southampton.
We encourage parents to become involved in the running of
the pr&school by showing an interest in their children's
Feaming and supporb'ng fundraising events.
We offer children and their parents a service that promotes
equality and values diversity.
We aim to ensure that each child is in a safe and stimulating
environment, and has the chance tojoin with other children
and adults to thrive, play. work and leam together.
Each child is given generous care and attenb'on because of
our ratio of qualified staff to children, and has a person21 key
person who makes sure that each child makes satisfactory
progress and liaises wrth the child's parents keeping them
involved and updated.

We encourage parents to become involved in the running of

admission stage is full immediatety with mosty funded
children.
As the preschool is joined to the main primary school we have
a good connection with the pnmary school. This helps c
children in the transth'on period as we prepare them for rrthD-

The main source of funds is through childcare places. We
receive up to 15 and 30 hours Nursery Educats'on Funding per
child.
If a child is not eligible for funding parents have the option to
pay for this unts"l they are eligible, and some parents also
choose to top up their child's hours if not covered by their
