Review of Activities

The main activity of the charity has continued to be the provision of holiday facilities and the organisation of outings and events to provide respite for children with cancer and for their families. Grants are also made to help with the cosi of respite holidays. During the year 47 such grants were made.

The leases on the 2 holiday lodges held by the charity expired during the year and the decision was made to take out a new lease on one lodge at a cost of £150,000. The Charity is confident that it will be able to continue to meet demand for respite holidays by revising the bookings schedule.

The asset value of the lodge will be depreciated in line with the term of the lease
