T o enhance the development and education of children primarily under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups and by : (a) offering appropriate play facilities and training courses, together with the right of parents to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of such groups, ensuring that such groups offer opportunities for all children regardless of race, culture, religion or means (b) encouraging the study of the needs of such children and their families and promoting public interest in and recognition of such needs in the local areas (c) instigating and adhering to and furthering the aim of the pre-school learning alliance. |

Section D Achievements and performance
We have been pushing advertising and community events this year to increase Stepping Stones Nursery awareness within the Summary of the main achievements of the charity area to increase admissions. during the year Since Easter 2024, we have slowly been increasing our numbers and staff retention and moral is at a much better level. We continue working hard to forge stronger links with the schools which our children move onto and have received positive feedback on how we prepare them for this.

A general reserve fund is maintained by the pre-school in order to provide for any contingencies or unforeseen circumstances Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves and to ensure that the financial viability of the pre-school is maintained. Currently the reserve equates to approximately 5 month’s worth of expenditure. Details of any funds materially in deficit None in deficit.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31.08.25
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention (other than that disclosed below *) in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
