MOSAIC exists to support the development of positive cultural & racial identity; to empower BME people to combat racism; represents the interests of Black, Asian & Mixed parentage families.

Objects: For The Benefit Of The Public And In Particular Those Members Of The Public Whose Ancestral Origins Are African, Asian, Caribbean, Chinese, Romany Or From The Indigenous People Of The South Pacific, The American Continents, Australia And New Zealand: 1. To Advance Education, Relieve Poverty, Protect And Preserve Public Health, Relieve Suffering (Whether Caused By Racial Harassment Or Otherwise) And To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants; And 2. The Promotion Of Good Race Relations By Encouraging Equality Of Opportunity And Working Toward The Elimination Of Racial Discrimination.
