a) Active Lifestyle and Befrlendlng Plus I Volunteering continued:
Activities continued:
Befriending services to fvrther reduce any feelirgs of soclal isolatlon and encourage
engagement with the outslde world and the local communty. Volunteers regularly called
SeN1￿ users to speak on any subjert they like.
A shopping and medication drop-off service for disabled people, W￿re items were purchased
and delivered to their door by a volunteer. In some cases, the volunteer would accompany
the service user on local shopplng trips to allow the disabled person to get out and about
locally, Interact and engage with others in their neighbourhood.
