Thts dwAty is t member of the Family Mediation CoutKAI (FMC) and w0￿S in collaboration with the FMC to promote
standards within the profession.
This year. the charity h&8 promoted Com￿u￿[ty and stsnd9￿S within the profession via the continued provision of free
online Workshops and Iow-¢0st trainin& including a Conference held in Liverwl on the topic of equality and
diversity. Th¢ Charity hjs also sought to rais¢ gworeTw of th¢ fwnily vneiliation PTofrssion (both to th¢ g¢n¢ral publi
and otherprofe&qiong]s) tbrough its continuing sum ofFamily Mediation Week (An evellt creat&1 by the FMA)
This year the main focus of the charitys efforts has be￿ on pr(ATh)ting eqllality and diversity, both within the
profession and in the delivery of family )nediation - we provided several free workshops to members on the topic and
our annual Confe￿nce was d¢dicated ￿ this topic, involving presenteTS with lived exF¢rience' rnost importantly we
launched FMA scholarship, d¢sign¢d to provide supwrt to individua15 eDteriDg th¢ farnily mediation PTof¢&8ion
who have a proven trkck record in promoting equality and divetsity.
We are pleased to have invested in marketing faD)ily mediation &8 a trgulated profession. this i)oth supports our
members IprovidiDg high quality family mediation} and he]ps families going through separation (signFM)Sting them to
high quality family mcdiation). The eharity h&$ conlinucd to devclop its wthit4 which is Ix)th a va]llable Tcsource for
its rnembers and a tn¢aDs of protnoting fdmily ￿ediation to th¢ publiE' the f(w has been on wpdating the materi&ls
available to all members, including guidelines and sample doeumenty to hclp maint4in high standards and protect the
publi¢. The ¢hartty is pleas¢d kn hav¢ b¢¢n abl¢ to contiEJUE lo help atMI 5UPPQrt its young¢r rn¢mb¢￿ (both in respect
of age and experience) through the o￿TatIOn of the Young FMA. which provides both training and netwo￿1ng
