In March 2020 when lockdown **achievements of the charity during the year** was announced we transferred our existing youth theatre services online and extended the program to support our community as best we could. As a result, our program has grown significantly, and we are now offering classes in 4 different performing arts related disciplines. Over the course of the year we have worked with over 100 young people from across Brent and beyond as part of our online program. ## _April 2020 - July 2020_ - **Brent Youth Theatre (online):** - Drama Online - Weekly Youth Theatre for CYP aged 7-16 - Script Writing - Weekly Script Writing classes for CYP aged 7-16 - Creative Storytelling - Weekly Storytelling classes for CYP aged 5-8 - 5 films created over the course of the term - played to an online audience of over 50 people in an end of term celebration. - _“Good evening. During lockdown, I had nothing much to do and as soon as I found out about the drama sessions that were happening and I joined immediately. I am really happy for joining these sessions as it has helped me get over my shyness. Despite the fact of it being a bit weird doing Drama online, I found that the Zoom meetings were actually better when compared to facing an actual physical audience and having to perform and sing in_ _front of them. The teachers have been amazing and extremely supportive, have always been open to new ideas and above all, have helped me discover my love for acting and songwriting.
