**Objects:** TO ENCOURAGE AND ADVANCE THE RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION OF VOLUNTEERS WORKING FOR THE RELIEF OF SUFFERING, SICKNESS, POVERTY AND DISTRESS (1) PARTICULARLY BY THE PRESENTATION, ON AT LEAST ON ANNUAL BASIS, OF CERTIFICATES, DIPLOMAS, TROPHIES OR OTHER AWARDS TO THOSE WHO HAVE EXCEPTIONALLY AND SIGNIFICANTLY SERVED AS UNPAID VOLUNTEERS IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS OF CARE A) CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE AT RISK OR WHO ARE DISRUPTIVE OR VIOLENT B) THE SICK, INJURED OR DISABLED C) THE HOMELESS D) THE MENTALLY IMPAIRED E) THE ELDERLY F) THE DYING G) SUCH OTHER SIMILAR AREAS OF CARE OR SERVICE AS SHALL BE FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDED BY THE TRUSTEES (2) BY IMPROVING AND DEVELOPING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS TO WORK IN THE AREA OF CARE LISTED IN (1)(3) BY SUCH OTHER METHODS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.
