Chairnian's Rtrport continued
Our building despite the many successes of the year remains a huge concern to us. We a￿ housed in Hull'5 former Art
School, built in 1904. 11,5 an incredible building, Grade Il, ligled, perfect for our use.
Sadly, the building is in dire need of resloralion and repair, the problems are only getb'ng worse. We need some major
nvesln7ent to ensure it remalns a safe friendly environment that enables us to carry out our charitable activrties.
Last year we created a Capital Project Funding Strategy and have been working with a bjndraisei lo help deliver that
51r3legy. We have developed a good relationship with two potential funders. Historic England and the National Lottery
Heritage Fund and will be looking at putting in some bids to both next year lo take the project forward.
