**Objects:** (A) TO PROMOTE SAFETY AND QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE AVON AND SOMERSET POLICE FORCE AREA THROUGH THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER, THE PROTECTION OF PEOPLE AND PROPERTY FROM CRIMINAL ACTS AND THE FOSTERING OF GOOD COMMUNITY RELATIONS; AND(B) TO SECURE THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN ALL MATTERS INCLUDING ALCOHOL, DRUGS, SOLVENT ABUSE, COMMUNITY RELATIONS AND RESPONSIBLE CITIZENSHIP.

**Activities:** - Protect Local People and property from crime- Reduce anti-social behaviour- Educate young people on the dangers of drug, alcohol and solvent abuse- Increase community safety for all but especially the young, vulnerable and elderly- Divert young people away from crime and anti-social behaviour, encouraging their growth into  responsible young adults- Build good community relations
