Objectives and Activities

The main activities of Proclaim Trust undertaken for the public benefit are: - Communicating the relevance of Christianity - Training churches / mentoring Evangelists - Prisons Ministry - Drugs Education in schools - Distribution of resources to advance the message of Christianity

Staff and Volunteers

Contribution made by staff Contribution made by volunteers	During 2021 to 2022, Proclaim Trust had one full-time and three part time staff members, one of whom is self-employed, who contributed towards the running of the ministry. During 2021 to 2022, Proclaim Trust had one volunteer, who contributed towards the running of the ministry.

Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.

Since coming out of lockdown due to Covid-19 Proclaim Trust’s ministry has become increasingly in-person once again. However, Proclaim Trust continues to undertake online events / record talks as a result of this time, where churches, persons and organisations request and where this provides the opportunity for a far greater reach to people. Proclaim Trust’s main achievements during August 2021 to July 2022 were: - 61 in person church outreach / parachurch and 3 online church / parachurch outreach events. At the majority of events people who attended were invited to make a commitment to the Christian faith; were welcomed by the church whether or not this was the case; were offered different types of support depending on the individual organisation; and offered prayer for any needs they had. We found during this time that more people were attending in person events due to broadcasts undertaken by the Trust during the lockdowns. - 19 in person prison / young offenders and 4 online prison talks took place, which produced positive responses from prisoners and staff. Prisoners’ lives were changed due to the spiritual experience of becoming a Christian and/or due to the role model of the speaker, Barry Woodward. - Since working in partnership with prisons, Proclaim Trust has been receiving letters from prisoners writing about the impact of the message from Barry Woodward. Every letter is replied to. - Several talks were recorded for TBN UK Network that and broadcast on TV. - Distributed over 51,000 copies of Barry Woodward’s autobiography to prisons throughout the UK between 2007 - 2022. This story is of 15 years of heroin/drug addiction that was turned around because of his experience in a church. This story educates people and gives hope to people who are in similar positions. The usual model for this outreach is that the Trust send Once an Addict books free of charge into prisons, due to sponsorship of the books, and Barry Woodward offers to follow this up with a speaking event in the prison. - Undertaken 9 half day training days with recovery organisations / ex-offenders on ‘Turning Your Mess into a Message: How to Tell You Story’.

- Hosted our ninth	FIXED Conference. FIXED is an	FIXED Conference. FIXED is an	FIXED Conference. FIXED is an	FIXED Conference. FIXED is an
annual conference for addicts, ex-addicts, recovering
addicts and those with a heart for addicts.
Individuals, recovery agencies and churches joined
online. 136 people responded to the Gospel
message.
- Produced Fixed Highlight for Prisoners. This was
streamed over 5 days into 50% of UK prisons
through Way Out TV. We also put this content onto
DVDs and multiple copies were sent to prisons for
library type distribution through the Chaplaincies.
- In May 2015 Proclaim launched		and hosted the
Evangelists’ Network. This teaching, equipping and
networking event is for emerging		Evangelists and
experienced Evangelists. During		2021 –	2022, 2
Evangelists Network events took		place online with a
good attendance of between 10 and 25 new,
emerging and established Evangelists attending.
One-to-one mentoring was undertaken with several
of these via zoom too.
For 2022 to 2023 Proclaim Trust		have, as of
November 2022, the following scheduled:
- Online church / church events – 1
- In person church / outreach events –				87
- Fixed 22 highlight for prisoners streamed into
UK prisons
- In person prison events –		42
- Half day training days for		recovery
organisations / ex-offenders – 12
- School events – 1
Proclaim Trust will	also in 2022 -	2023:
- Host our tenth FIXED Conference.
- Aim to continue to distribute further copies				of Barry
Woodward’s autobiography to prisoners			in the UK.
- Deliver 10 half day training days with recovery
organisations / ex-offenders on ‘Turning			Your Mess
into a Message: How to Tell You		Story’.
- Launch ‘Your Story Reframed’.		This is	a yearlong
course which aims to train people to tell			their life
stories. This will be a mix of zoom and in person
meetings. 21 people have signed up.

Financial Review

Review of the charity’s financial For the year ended 31 [st] July 2022 Proclaim Trust
position at the end of the period had the following Income and Expenditure:
Income: £84,010
Expenditure: £100,237
The balance brought forward is: £93,853
There were fixed assets of the total of £648, for
office equipment.
A £10,000 grant was obtained between 2021 and
2022.
Grant options are regularly reviewed. Proclaim Trust
is exploring fundraising organisations.
The £93,853 balance brought forward includes
£82,500 of a legacy from 2019.
Statement explaining the policy for Proclaim Trust’s reserve policy is to keep a minimum
holding reserves stating why they of £10,000 in the bank account on a month-to-month
are held basis to cover events or situations that may happen
