We are based within the Riverside Community Centre which is on the same site of the Parkstone Primary School. At the moment we have 30+ families on our register which means parents/carers are able to work, train or seek employment knowing that their children are happy in our safe environment. Our 4 staff have updated their annual DBS update service that is required. Completed Level 1 & 2 Safeguarding. Health & Safety in the workplace and other relevant training and courses. Policies and procedures are reviewed and updated when required. Grants. Parkstone Kids Club received the following Grants from - Matthew Good Foundation - £500.00 - Tesco Ground Works - £5000.00 - Rank Foundation - £1000.00 **Matthew Good Foundation** - With this grant Parkstone Kids Club was able to hire from ‘Science Boffin’. This fun advent was delivered by a science actor, who entertained our children with science experiments, demonstrations, entertaining games and hands-on, interactive slime making. **Tesco Ground Works –** With this grant Parkstone Kids Club was able to hire from 'Chaplin’s Mini Panto' 75 minutes of fantastic pantomime tale of TREASURE ISLAND entertain our children with comedy, songs and adventure. Parkstone Kids also has delivered an Easter Disco and Christmas Disco, we invited our children to come and have fun while socialising with friends. Captivating Creatures, Spectac-u-lab and Rock-a-Tots were hired to visit Kids Club. These exciting and different workshops gave our children the opportunity to learn and experience new and exciting skills. Children’s Christmas Gift, Outdoor Play and Toys & Equipment where also purchased **Rank Foundation** – Parkstone Kids Club celebrated their 27[th] Birthday this on September 07[th] 2024 were we opened our doors to our local community.
