Objectives and Activities

Summary of the purposes of Para 1.17 To advance the education of pupils in the charity as set out in its Luckington school. In furtherance of this governing document object the Charity may : 1. Develop more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. 2. Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of pupils attending it. 3. Provide or assist in the provision of such facilities or items for education at the school ( not provided by statutory funds ) as the Executive Committee in consultation with the Headteacher and Governing Body shall from time to time determine.

Para 1.17 and 1.19 | Funding raising activities and events - Welcome BBQ, Badminton horseless trails sponsored event, Christmas market, Barn dance, amazon and easy fundraising cash back donations Grants received - Co-op community fund, Luckington Pre-School funds received restricted to spending on Early Years only. Plus also match funding. Donations to school - Bus and entry into Young Voices in Birmingham, books, Father Christmas gifts, Circus club, Classroom resources, new fence, various software licences, playground work, Year 6 leavers contributions, Trips and Visits for the kids. Note that fundraising almost completely stopped in February due to Covid. |

Para 1.20 | During the reporting period we have enhanced the education of over fifty pupils by providing school trips, resources and improving their environment. We also work with other local charities to run community events like the village fete which helps to bring our community together, thus strengthening the school |

Para 1.21 | Following a successful year’s fundraising we hold net cash assets of just over £24K in unrestricted funds. We also hold another £33K which is restricted to Early Years funding. We have spent less than expected this year due to Covid. |

Responsibilities and basis of report I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination.
