TheTrustees present their annual report and accounts of Bhatla Association IU.K.I for the year ended
31 December 2025. The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the accountlng
policies set out in note I to the accounts and comply wlth the charity's trust deed, the Charities Act 2011
and Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practlce applicable to charitles
preparing their accounts In accordance with the Financlal Reporting Standards applScable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland published on 16 JLJIY 2014.
TRUSTEES RESPONSIBIUTIES
Law appllcaljle to chèrlties in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare financlal statetnents
for each financlal year which gives a true and falr vlew of the charity's financlal activitie5 durlnE the
year and of It's financlal posltion at the end of the year lunles5 the charity is entltled to prepzre

The Trustees are responsible for keeplng proper accountlng record5 whl¢h disclose wlth roasonable
accuracy at any tlme the financial position ol the charity and to enable thern to ensure that the
financial statements comply with the Charlties Act 2011. The Trustees are also responsible for
safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence take reasonable steps forthe PTeventlon and
detection of fraud and other irreEularities.
CHARITABLE STATUS AND OBJECTIVES
The Assoclation was regSsteTed as a charlty on 15 June 1999.

concerning any such matters. The procedures undertzken do not provide all the evidence that would
be required Sn an audit and, consoquently no oplnion is given as to whether the accounts presents a
true and fair view, and the report Is Ilmited to those matters set out in the statement below.

11 ACCOUNTING POLICIES
Basis of accountlng
The accounts have been prepared under historlcal cost conventlon and in accordance with appllcable
accountlnE Standards and the Statement of Recommended Practlce.. Accounting and Reporting by
Charities preparlnB their accounts in aCCOTdance with the Flnancial Reporting Standard Zpplicable
in the UK and Republlc of Ireland IFRS1021 issued on 16 July 2014 and Financial Reporting Standard
applicable In the UK 8nd Republic of Ireland IFRS1021 and the ChaTltles Act 2011.
The trust constltutes a public benefit entity as defined by FRSIO2.
In preparing the accounts, the trustees have considered whether in apPI￿nE the accountlng policlÈs
requlred by FRS102 and the Charities SORP FRS102 a restatement of comparative Items wa5 needed.
No restatements were required.
Income
Donatlons and grfts are credited to the statement of fSnancial actlvlties in the year in which they are
recelved.
Expendlture
Dlrect charitable expenditure comprlses direct expenses incurred on the defined charltable purpose of
the charltv.
Management and admini5tratlon costs Include expendlture on geneT81 admlnlstratlon, management
