Our core activities have remained the running of Coronation Park for the benefit of local residents.
Income on core activities was £16099 with expenses of £17698 resulting in a loss of £1599.
Within the Park is a Leisure Centre which was leased to Cornwall Council on a full repairing lease at a peppercorn rent. The lease surrendered with the centre reverting to the Trust. A grant in lieu of dilapidations was agreed payable in instalments. During the year £327620 was received and is ring fenced for repairs to the Centre. The Leisure Centre is now run by a local CIC and a commercial lease will be completed shortly.
Repairs are expected to start shortly, planning permission having been obtained.
During the year a capital grant of £50000 was made to Launceston Town Council towards the cost of a skatepark in Coronation Park.
