The committee also organised some popular special events such as 'Sawley Talent Night- and rounderslgames nights. Major improvements included kitchen and storeroom refurbishment (funded by an £8,500 grant from the Parish Room Fund). new staging, toilet improvements, and external lighting repIa￿rnent. The charity received a generous bequest of £1,000 from the late Joan Miller.
