During the year, payments of £1,750 were made to A Matthews, Trustee,
in respect of accounts services. This included a payment of £1000 which
was made to reflect the considerable amount of work involved in
improving the internal accounting procedures for the 2022123 financial
year onwards.
Payments of £2,557 (2023: £1,659) were made during the year to R S
Landscapes for grounds and general maintenance. Mr R S Edwards,
Trustee, is the Proprietor of R S Landscapes.

Ob"ectives and activities
To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Springfield and Sutton
area and the neighbourhood together, defined by the ward boundaries
without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, ra￿ or of political, religious
or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the
local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to
advan￿ education and to provide facilities in the interests of social
welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of
improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
To establish, or secure the establishment of, a community centre and to
maintain and manage the same in furtherance of these objects.
To promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be

The Trustees have had due regard to the revised Charity Commission

The main hall and meeting rooms have been let out to a variety of
interest groups over the past year, some of which are long established
and have been using the premises since it opened.

Achievements and performance
The Chair thanked all members of the Commrtte for their continued
support over the past twelve months, with again special thanks to Sue
and Stefan for looking after the Centre and keeping it in top condition.
Financially we remain in a veryhealthy posrtion as bookings have been
consistently high over the past year. The Board are please that they
have been able to use some of their funds to support the community by
providing a defibrillator which is attached to the outside of the Centre.
Thanks were offered to Sam Richards for her wort( in issuing the invoices
each month.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ("the Trust") for the year ended 31 January 2024.
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
