The members of the Executlve Commlttee are elected at the Annual General Mting by the members of the Charity. All members are circulated with invitations to nominate Trustees in advance of the AGM. The Constitutlon ststes that the Executlve Committee shall consist of the Honorary OffirS (Chairperson, Secretsry and Treasurer) and not less than two nor more than eight members of the Kids Club elected by the Annual General Meeting. The Executlve Committee may c(H)Pt new charity Trustees at any time. Co-opted members are not entitled to vote. All systems and procedures are reviewed regularly to ensure they meet charity law and our own organisatlons alms and objectives. Objectives and Activities Head On In Kids Club objects are: l. To provide the neSSary care, CreatIOn and leaming during out of SChJ1 hours and school holidays 2. To advan the education and training of the persons in the provision of such care, education and recreational facilities. Main ob'ectives for the followi ear: In shaping our objeLtives for the following year and planning our attivities, the Trustees have considered the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit. The maln objectives for 2024.125 are: to continue to provide the same high quality child care provision as we have done for the past 26 years to further enhan the excellent reputstion the club has built up over the years to plan for and oversee all snags that come with good club Complete transfer of assets from old charity to new charity (CIO). Head On In Kids aub has income below £250,000 and has therefore elected to prepare the financial statements on a Receipts and Payments basls In line with the Charities Act 2011. The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financlal posltlon of the charlty. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other Irregularities. Respective responsibilities of Trustees and examiner The charity's Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under tIOn 144 of the Charltles Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to.. examine the accounts under sectlon 145 of the Charities Art. to follow the procedures laid down In the General Directions given by the Charfty Commissloners under section 145 (5)(b) of the Charities Att, and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basls of Independent examiner's report My examination was carried out in accordan with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts pre*nted with those records. It also indudes conslderation of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as Trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequentty I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. Taxation Head On In Kids Club is a registered charity. All the Charities, income is applied to its charitsble objettives and the association is therefore exempt under current lejislation from most fornis of taxation. The charity is not VAT registered and all expenditure includes irrecoverable VAT. 13
