**Activities:** To provide an open recreational area for local residents and also for events of various kinds throughout the year.  To provide local schools with the facilities to educate pupils in local flora and fauna and help in the celebration of national events under the direction of the local authority and the wishes of local residents. To provide community events in co-operation with local charities.
