TO ADVANCE UNDERSTANDING OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AMONG BENGALI SPEAKING PEOPLE BY PRODUCING AND DISTRIBUTING APPROPRIATE MEDIA, SUPPORTING BENGALI SPEAKING WORKERS AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION 3.  TO PROVIDE RELIEF IN RESPONSE TO THE NEEDS CREATED BY NATURAL AND MAN MADE CALAMITIES AFFECTING BENGALI SPEAKING PEOPLE 4.  TO PROMOTE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AMONG BENGALI SPEAKING PEOPLE WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM

**Activities:** In Bangladesh, BdP promotes functional education and vocational training schemes. Christian and educational literature is distributed, providing the workers with income and educational opportunities.  Practical assistance is provided to schools. Assistance is given in times of natural calamities.  In Bedford, UK, practical social help is provided to a number of families.
