||||pandemic.<br>We were very cautious about our events going ahead due to|
||||them being large group events,<br>however,<br>due to the safety measures<br>we|
||||introduced,<br>they were run safely and effectively.|
||||We held 9-day competitions<br>throughout<br>2022 ranging<br>from March to|
||||October attracting<br>between 700 and 1000people to each event.<br>Various|
||||majorette troupes attended<br>with some travelling<br>great distances,<br>we had|
||||troupes attend from Dewsbury,<br>Batley, Heckmondwike,<br>Bridlington,|
||||Kendal, Leeds, Wakefield,<br>and Horbury.|
||||Our end-of-season<br>finale competition<br>is held at The Spa, Bridlington,|
||||East Yorkshire.<br>Our event is held over 4 days and has been a huge|
||||success and very much missed<br>by everyone<br>throughout<br>the pandemic.|
||||During the day we have the majorette<br>and porn competitions,<br>and,<br>in the|
||||evening,<br>we hold entertainment<br>nights where troupes socialise and relax|
||||together<br>in a safe environment.<br>We also have Solo and Duo|
||||competitions<br>at this event which is thoroughly<br>enjoyed<br>by the members.|
||||Our fundraising<br>includes<br>raffles, numbers<br>boards, and the Pound<br>in the|
||||Bucket challenge,<br>we also raise some funds from the sale of competition|
||||wristbands.|
