Achlevements and performance The Charity has continued to support and provide opportunSties for d1sablèd people for the year to 31" October 2023. The Charity continues to work on fundraising activitie5 to ensure the future of the Chairty is supported.
Dyneley Gn)up Riding for the olbled Assoclatlon Trustees, Annual Report Icontinuedl for the year ended 31" October 2023 Financial Review Donations and fundraising income has increased in the year and with the grant received from The Mayor of the Borough of Burnley's Charity of £20,000 which has seen an overall welcomed increase to available funds. Feed and bedding costs have seen an increase along with the general maintenance Costs needed to continue to improve facilities and keep up with repairs but for the year the charity has generated a surplu5 of £21,481. Plans for the future The Chairty will continue to malntain the exlsting objective5 and utllise reserves effectively. Responslbllltles of the Trustees The tru5tee5 are responsible for preparlng the Trustees Annual Report and the financial Statements in accordance with applicable law and the United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practlcel. The law appllcable to charities in England and Wales requires the Irustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which glve a true and fair view of the state of offair5 of the charity and the incoming resources and application of resources of the Charity for that period. In preparing these financial statements the trustees are required to: Select Sultable accounting policies and then apply them con5i5tently' Observe the methods and principals in the Charities SORP; Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent,. State whether applicable accounting standard5 have been followed, Subject to any material departures disc105ed and explained in the financial statements- Prepare the financlal statements on the going concern basis unless It is Inappropriate to presume that the chorlty will contlnue in operotlon.
