The aims and objectives of the Mynyddislwyn Male Choir are to foster and promote the education of the publk In the creation of music in all it5 aspects. To co-operate wrth local authoritie5, educational institution5 and cultural socleties relating to the practice and study of muslc to promote choral work both inside and outside of the United Kingdom. The main activity of the Choir is to perform in concert to entertain the public or to raise fvnds for certain causes or projects, this may either take place at our own choir hall or at other locations upon request. In 2023 the Cholr performed numerous concerts includin8 our 3 main annual events whbch are the St. David's Day Concert. Annual Concert and Christmas Concert. We also performed alongside local school choirs and welcomed the visrting Ilfracombe Male Voice Choir to share the stage with us at our building in October. A successful short weekend tour of Shrew5bury was undertaken in August where we were invited to sin8 In concert alongside Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir and at a wedding at Netley Hall. We also 5an8 at other weddin8s and several corporate events. The choir contlnued to enjoy a sodal aspert to its operation as well by organisin8 several social evenln85 for members and their families and guests throughout the year. Durin8 2023 our bulldin8 has 8rown even further as a community facility and we continue to host several communlty classes such a5 dance and fitness and are now able to offer the bulldln8 for prlvate functlons such as birthdays, en8a8ements, and annlvefsaries.
