The Choir is governed by a document In the form of a wrÉtten constitution which came Into force In Au8USt 1998. The alms and objettives of the Mynyddislwyn Male Choir are to foster and promote the education of the public in the creation of music in all its aspetts. To co-operate with local authorlties, educational institutions and cultural societies relating to the practice and study of music to promote choral work both inslde and outside of the United Kinsdom. The main attivity of the Choir is to perform in concert to entertain the public or to raise funds for certain causes or projects, this may either take place at our own choir hall or at other locations upon request. In 2022 the Choir performed numerous concerts includin8 our 3 main annual event5 whlch are the St. Davld's Day Concert, Annual Concert and Christmas Concert. We also performed alongside local school choirs and welcomed the visiting Ep50m Male Voice Choir to share the Stage with u5 at our building in October. A successful short weekend tour of the Isle of Wight was undertaken in August where we were invited to sing in concert alongside Newchurch Male Voice Choir and at the Warners Hotel in Yarmouth. We also san8 at weddings and several corporate events. The choir continued to enjoy a social aspect to its operation as well by organising several social evenings for members and their families and guests throughout the year. During 2022 our building has grown as a community facillty and we continue to host several Community classes such as dance and fltness and are now able to offer the building for private functions such as birthdays, en8agements, and anniversarie5. The buildins is now also home to Mynyddislwyn Ladies Choir. The Choir currently does not have any debt and no reserve pollcy.
