Contact with other local Village Hall Charites is made from time to time to help with best practices from those with more experience. The Charity seeks advise and guidance from ACRE. - Safety of hirers and visitors is paramount. The grounds are regularly inspected and defects corrected as soon as possible. Play equipment is annually inspected by certificated personnel as is the electrical safety with in the village hall. Safety certification is then provided to the Charities insurers. These costs cannot just be included into the hire charge as hirers have the same financial commitments themselves. Therefore, with-out being a burden to the local council a solar project saw a two-part generation system installed in July 2024. The Village Hall directly benefits from the generated electricity and also exports surplus back onto the local grid system for reward.
