Report of the Independent Examiner to the Club Members
Basis of Opinion
This years independent examination has included a detailed review of the documented evidence namely, bank statements, electronic and hard copy spreadsheets and filed hard copies of receipts / invoices relevant to the amounts of money passing through the Charity and Club accounts. The financial activity for Marlow Tastes 2025 has been recorded within the Charity account.
This years accounts have the extra visibility of transactions with the addition of filing the relevant bank statements and applicable receipts in order of month, relating to this financial year.
: individualIt has included, transactionson a random(mainly testlarger basis, amounts) a thoroughto give examinationassurance ofthat enoughthe | financial summary is accurate and free from material misstatement.
Overall, I found the accounts to be presented in a very clear and logical manner, with a detailed coding system for each account and comprehensive | supporting data that allowed transactions to be tracked and easily identified by each month of the financial year. The inclusion of additional electronic _ spreadsheets, that highlight the movement of all monies for the increasing | number of Rotary events during the year, summary of donation | commitments, and details of income and expenditure breakdown for the Clubs fund raising activities also serve to provide additional transparency.
| Opinion : Having concluded my independent examination, it is my opinion that the | financial accounts are a true and fair representation of the Clubs affairs as at 30% June 2025 and of the financial activity for the period then ended. | D.C.Simpson ee : Independent Examiner | 14% January 2026
