Chairman Trevor Low. 8[th] April 2026 ANNUAL REPORT 2025

Hon. Auditor, I confirm that all entries on this account are correct and reconciled with the bank account. Larisa Belousova. 8[th] April 2026.

2025 was a challenging year. Trevor Low, Chairman.

The older venue at Clarendon Park Hinckley required refurbishment resetting the floor plan to accommodate a new range of classes. This required the removal of a large apparatus podium and replacement of old apparatus for new with significant additional safetymeasures including replacement of balcony handrails. An enthusiastic volunteer workforce allowed much of the demolition and dismantling to be completed before contractors were involved resulting in significant savings. Running parallel with this was a local survey of the catchment with the help of the Hinckley and Bosworth council. Acting on returns and stats from the survey has assisted us to better target age groups and class numbers have risen consequently.

The showcase venue in Leicester was in a transition from a College to an Academy school which has seen many changes in working practice around the site. This process is ongoing and through 2026 we are looking at proposals for a new lease on the Gymnastics Centre in 2028 to secure the legacy of the project.

The charity supported the English Gymnastics Association and the Northern European Gymnastics Committee by undertaking to organise and deliver the 2025 Northern European Gymnastics Championships. The Charity and Hinckley Gymnastics Club management Delivered a high-quality event: 12 countries, 200 delegates arriving through 5 airports bringing the event in on budget and to considerable acclaim. We used the occasion to secure serious upgrades in apparatus to ensure the best conditions at World standards.

Member numbers remain stable at around 750. Both venue catchments are challenging by way of social and financial circumstances. It has been necessary for the Charity to take inhouse the Welfare of members, families and staff which has required a more progressive approach with more expertise. We remain considerably below the average amongst the 3000 gymnastic clubs for complaints and incidents. By keeping this service inside the Charity, we can look more openly at each situation. This also means the Charity carries the increased costs. This is an essential service and not an option, we aim to maintain quality at all levels.

Our portfolio of National, Regional, County and club level events continues to increase. 2026 and 2027 are fully booked.

In 2025 grants to the two venues were almost £30,000, Learning bursaries £4550, and support or donations to good causes close to £7000. On all fronts we are very satisfied with our progress and quality of delivery throughout 2025.

We support primarily the local causes within our constitution, secondly where the Trustees consider that our help can make a significant personal life improvement and thirdly, we support a wider range of charitable programs with active involvement in a wide range of charitable work and fund-raising activities. Good causes primarily and directly supported directly by our Charity; The Gymnastics centre at Clarendon Park Hinckley.

The Gymnastics Centre at The Herewoode Academy (formerly New College) Leicester and their outreach school program.

Secondary support ; The Nik Stuart Foundation, volunteers in sport. The Royal Society of St George and The St Georges Day Club. A selection of third level good causes over several years have benefited from our support through the St George programs.
