## **Trustees Annual Report Yr. Ending 30 October 21.** 

During the year starting from 01 November 2020 to 30 October 2020, the society has not been able to carry out many activities due to COVID-19 restrictions imposed by the government. The few activities performed within the law, by the society are as follows: - 

1. Religious ceremony of celebration of Baba Nam’s 750[th] Birthday was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. 

2. As the cases of Corona Virus started appearing from the beginning of 2020 and well toward the end of 2021, there had been restrictions to the number of people who could gather, Therefore, the society could not plan any activities. The trustees carried their executive tasks by telephone and emails etc. Therefore, trustees decided to donate to other charities and direct help wherever it was need. The list of donations made by the society is as follows:

- 1 In November 2020, Coventry and Warwickshire zone, donated £501.00 to local Sikh Temple for Food for the needy. 

2. Birmingham Sub-Comm. Donation spent £1000.00 for food parcels for Homeless people. 

## **Purpose** 

To help with food for the needy. 

To help Homeless People. 

3. Wal.& Wolv Sub-Comm. Spent £1000.00 for food parcels To help Homeless People. for Homeless people. 

4. Cov. & Warks. Sub-Comm. Spent £1000.00 for food parcels for Homeless people 

   - Help to the homeless people 

5. Central Committee Donated £2000 to DEC CRNAVRS To help with Covid-19 in India APPEAL India COVID-19, 

6. Central Committee Donated £2000 to British Red Cross To help with COVID-19 in India. Appeal COVID-19 India. 

Total donations made to other charities were £7,501. 

3. The only income of the society is from the rent of the premises and donations made by the members. Due to COVID19, rent arrears was £23325 reported in accounts as debtors.  This is the money owed to the society by the tenant of the society premises. 

4. Annual Accounts: The annual accounts of the society were prepared by the Treasurer, Sushil Kainth from Bank statements and activities noted during the year. The accounts were checked independently by Duel Accountants Limited. The society accounts show **total income £26675.00, out of which £26300 was this years’ income and £375, which was unpaid rent from the previous years brought in the books. Expenses;** £7662 and net income for the year £19013.00.  Independently checked accounts are submitted with this report. 

The above report is compiled by Sushil Kainth, Treasurer, Midland Kshattri (Taank) Society from the society’s activities during the years, Bank accounts and the minutes of management meetings.
