|Review of the charity’s<br>financial position at the<br>end of the period|Para 1.21|**At the end of the last financial year**<br>**the club had £12,295 in the current**<br>**account and £61,991 on deposit,**<br>**over the year the club’s account’s**<br>**show a surplus of £6151.During the**<br>**year we had 5691 swims and 8939**<br>**lessons completed**<br>**Over the year income excluding**<br>**grants is up just over £10,000 we**<br>**received a £57,071 grant from the**<br>**swimming pool support fund for a**<br>**new pool roller and solar panels**<br>**and £1000 from the  parish council**<br>**for CCTV**<br>**Major expenses for the year include**<br>**£2773 for new dry side windows,**<br>**£773 to replace a broken widow**<br>**which were reimbursed for, £41514**<br>**for the solar panels. £15,602 for the**<br>**new pool roller.**<br>**Our oil usage last year was down**<br>**14% at £8469 helped by the new**<br>**pool roller and lower prices. The**<br>**electric bill is down up 9% at £9576**<br>**owing to higher prices, this does**<br>**not show reflect the current**<br>**savings of the solar which is**<br>**mainly in summer.Our electric**<br>**account is currently £1200 in credit**<br>**and the direct debit has dropped**<br>**from  £729 last May to £434 this**<br>**May.The solar panels produced**<br>**55% of our electric in April and 40%**<br>**since the start of the year.the full**<br>**effects of the panels will show after**<br>**the summer.**|
