To provide free family holiday experiences for Children and
Teenagers with life threatening illnesses, to enjoy the holiday of a
lifetime with their immediate family or carers giving full support and
benefit where needed.

2023- 2024
The trustees present their report and the financial statements for the
year ended 21 May 2024
We continue to work back to normal levels of use following the
Pandemic, however we are still noticing the reluctance of some
families to share space with others.
As with many charities, we are feeling the financial impact of the
economic and political climate and whilst we continue to deliver our
objectives this has proved increasingly difficult.
Achievements and performance
We have modified our processes to improve how we work as a team
and how we continue to promote and build on the successes of
Donna's Dream House.
Our part time members of staff continues to work well, liaising with
the families whilst also increasing awareness of our services
throughout the United Kingdom.
We continue to provide a holiday with 100% free accommodation,
including food throughout the stay should they wish to make use of
these facilities. We provide free or discount vouchers for attractions
throughout the area when available to us. We also at the discretion
of the trustees and volunteers will give financial assistance to those
families most in need.
We continue to support families in other ways and have arranged
equipment and holidays with other providers offering similar
facilities.

Fundraising and Volunteers
We once again held our fundraising ball, which was a huge success
raising significant funds whilst also raising the profile of the charity
and highlighting some of the work we undertake.
We have noticed that it has become more difficult to attract
volunteers with all the skills we require however the Trustees would
like to offer special thanks to the many organizations and individuals
for their extra special support of Donna's Dream House throughout
this year, without whom we would not be able to support so many
families, there are too many to name individually but we all know
who they are.
I should also thank the other trustees of the charity that assist me in
keeping the charity moving forward with no financial benefit to
themselves.
All in all, we continue to move forward with the charity and I look
towards the future development of Donna's Dream House.

Independent Examiners Report to the Trustees of Donna's Dream House
I report on the accounts of the Charity year ended 21 May 2024
Basis of the Independent Examiners Report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general direction given
by the Charity Commissioners.
An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity
and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also
includes
consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking
explanations from you as Trustees concerning any such matters.
Independent Examiners Statement
In connection with my examination no matter has come to my attention.
l. Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect, the
requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 41 of
the Act; and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records
and to comply with the accounting requirements have not been met.
2. or to which in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a
proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
