To provide free family holiday experiences for Children and
Teenagers with life threatening illnesses, to enjoy the holiday of a
lifetime with their immediate family or carers giving full support and
benefit where needed.

2020- 2021
The trustees present their report and the financial statements for the
year ended 21 May 2021
As with the whole world we have felt the signif icant effects of the
Covid-19 Pandemic. Whilst it has been difficult to meet our
objectives, we have undertaken what work we could to support
those around us.
Achievements and performance
We have been forced to move to a more streamlined method of
working with our admin and financial work being done remotely,
unfortunately over the last year it has been extremely difficult for
much of the maintenance work and everyday care of our site to be
completed by volunteers, we therefore increased our expenditure in
certain areas whilst cutting down in others, we do feel that we are in
a strong position going forward to achieve the future success of
Donna's Dream House.
Unfortunately due to the Pandemic we felt that it was not
appropriate to have families stay at Donna's Dream House, we did
however find other ways to support the families. By providing them
with goods and services where required.
Our other part time staff were furloughed for most of the year,
however the government grants and other income meant that we
could continue to pay them their full wages.
It has not been possible to hold the fundraising events that we would
normally undertake, however due to the generosity of our
supporters and through the government grants we have been able to
confirm that the charity remains in a good position going forward.

Fundraising and Volunteers
Unfortunately due to the pandemic we have not been able to have
the support of the volunteer community we would normally expect,
and our costs for maintenance have significantly increased as we
have had to pay for the work to be done that we would normally use
volunteers for however moving forward we hope that we will be able
to move back to our volunteer workforce in the future.
The Trustees would like to offer special thanks to the many
organizations and individuals for their extra special support of
Donna's Dream House throughout this year, without whom we
would not be able to support so many families, there are too many
to name individually but we all know who they are.
I should also thank the other trustees of the charity that assist me in
keeping the charity moving forward with no financial benefit to
themselves.
I must also thank those individuals who have been in touch and
promised support in whatever way possible through this situation.
Like many of us, we await more news and hope to be back to normal
in the very near future.
All in all, whilst it has been difficult at times, the charity continues to
move forward and I look towards the future development of Donna's
Dream House.

Independent Examiners Report to the Trustees of Donna's Dream House
I report on the accounts of the Charity year ended 21 May 2021
Basis of the Independent Examiners Report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general direction given
by the Charity Commissioners.
An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity
and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also
includes
consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking
explanations from you as Trustees concerning any such matters.
Independent Examiners Statement
In connection with my examination no matter has come to my attention.
l. Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect, the
requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 41 of
the Act; and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records
and to comply with the accounting requirements have not been met.
2. or to which in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a
proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
