Gilbert. This serves<br>to enhance habitat and support Great<br>Crested Newts but also restores important<br>aspects of the historic garden enhances<br>flood alleviation.<br>-Repair and restoration of The Leaf<br>sculpture by Diane Maclean in Grove Open<br>Space, Harrow for the community<br>-Removal of Wooden Totem pole at Pinner<br>Memorial Gardens due to termite damage<br>and risk to the public<br>-Engaging children and young people in<br>nature events and free courses connects<br>them with local nature and the benefits of<br>preserving green space for people and<br>wildlife<br>-Mowing regimes to increase biodiversity<br>for the benefit of nature and all humanity|

It is the Trust’s policy<br>to maintain the balance of this fund at a<br>level to cover administrative and support<br>costs for a forward period of at least a year,<br>and to respond to emergency and other<br>applications for grants or support as     and<br>when they arise. The fund was maintained<br>at an adequate level throughout the year.<br>The Unrestricted General fund holds<br>£14,838 in grant funding which is expected<br>to be expended in the following year. This<br>will be offset by further funds released in<br>stages by existing grant agreements.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 March 2023. 

## **Responsibilities and basis of report** 

As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out  under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
