The trustees who ère also directors of the charity for the purposes of the Companies Act 2006, present their report
with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2025. The trustees have adopted the
provisions of AccountSng and Reportlng by Charitles.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charlties
preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective l January 20191.

The trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2025. The
trustee5 have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities..
Statement of Recommended Practice ISORPI applicable to charities preparing their accountg in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 {effective I lanuèry 20151.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Objectives and Public Benefits
The objectives of Madina Trust are the advancement of the Islamic faith and the dissemSnation of the teaching5 of
Islam.
The activities of the trust are, among others, to raise funds privately, invest these funds in halal investments and use
the investment income to achieve the objectives.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Charitable activlties
The charity contlnued advance Islamic education. support to further the education of poor students, alleviate poverty
and support charitable institutlons with similar objects.
The disbursements of funds èmounted to £78,000 1£4,515 20241. This was considerably more than 2024 and the
trust is now back on its growth trajectory which is hoped to be maintained for each successive coming years.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Financial posltlon
Total income for the year amounted to £120,363 (£135,867 - 20241, while total expendlture for the year amounted to
£86,930 (£6,051 -20241.
Overall net surplus was £33,433 (£129,816 - 20241. The significant decrease from the previous year is due to tkie
decrease in administrative difficulties in processirlg the applications.
Total funds carried forward was £2,127,042 1£2,093.609 - 20241 of which all were unrestrlcted.
Investment
The charity continues to look for a sultable Investment to invest its cash assets bullt by keeping 20% of the annual
income for further investment.
Reserves policy
The trustees consider that the endowment funds held are sufficient to continue the charities activity in future years.
The trustees actlvely review the malor risks which the charity faces on è regular basis and have also examined other
operational and business risks faced by the charity. The trustees confirm that they have established systems to
mitigate the significant risks.

As the charity has kept its properties occupied over the lèst 12 months and has continued to build on its reserves
whilst still provlding grants in line wSth the charity objectlves, we see no reason that the charity will not continue to
be a going concern over the next 12 months.
STRUCTURE. GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Governing document
The charity is controlled by its governing document, a deed of trLJSt. and constitutes an unincorporated charity.
Organis?tional structure
The charity trustees are responsible for the general control and management of the charity. The trustees give their
tlme feely and receive no remuneration or other financial benefits.
The trustees meet as a body when and as required and are responsible for all decisions taken in relation to running
the activities provided by the charity. The charity is currently in process of appointing more trustees in view to expand
and be more proactive.
Induction and tralning of new trustees
Followlng appointment, new trustees will be introduced to their new role and are requested to familiarise themselves
with contents of the trusts constitution and to the policie5 and procedures adopted by the charity. They are also
requested to reèd a few publications from the Charity Commission to ensure that they are aware of the scope of their
responsibilities under the Charitie5 Act. The new trustees will work collectively with existing trustees assisting on
activities and projects run by the charity, to attain maximum benefits for the charity.
Public benefit
The trustees have recognised the guidance in the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit when
reviewing the aims and objective5 of the charity and when planning activities. The difference the charity makes for
the public benefit is the furtherance of education to poor students and elevating poverty.

The trustee5 have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed and are satisfied that systems are in place
to mitigate exposure to those risks. Appropriate controls are in place to mitigate financial risks overseen by trustees.

The trustees. who are also the directors of Charity For Madina Trust for the purpose of company law, are responsible
for preparing the Trustees, Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United
Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
Company Law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financSal year which give a trLJe and fair
view of the state of affairs of the charity arld of the incorlling resources and application of resources, including the
income and expenditure, of the charitable company for that year.
In preparing these financial statements. the trustees are required to..
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently-
observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP,.
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent,.
state whether applicable UK Accounting Standards have been followed, subject to any material departures
disclosed and explained in the financial statements,. and
prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity
will continue in operatlon.
The trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any
time the financial position of the charity and erlable them to ensure that the financial statements comply wlth the
Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking
reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

I report to the Charity Trustees on my examination of the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2025
which consists of the statement of financial activities,balance sheet and the related notes
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements
of the Charities Act 2011 I'the Act'l
I report in respect of my examination of the charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act and in
carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under
sectlon 1451511bl of the Act.
Independent Examiner's Statement
The charity's gross income exceeded £250.000 and l am qualified to undertake the examination by being a qualified
member of AIA
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with
the examination (other than that disclosed below *) which gives me cause to believe that In. any material respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act., or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records., or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out
in the Charities IAccounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true
and fair, view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connectlon with the examination to whlch attentlon

l. Accounting Policies
The princSpal accounting policies adopted by the Charity, which is a public benefit entity, in the preparation of the
accounts are as follows.
1.1 Basis of preparation
These account5 have been prepared under the historical cost convention. as modified by the inclusion of charitable
properties and ftxed asset investments arld investment properties at valuation.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with "Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of
Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting
Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021" (effective l January 2019) - (Charities SORP IFRS
10211, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in tho UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 and the Charities Act
2011.
These accounts are presented in pound5 Sterling and rounded to the nearest pound.
1.2 Going concern
The Trustees have prepared ftnancial projections, taking into consideration the current economic conditlons and
have, at the time of approving these accounts, a reasonable expectation that the charity has adequate resources to
continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus they continue to adopt the going concem basis of
accounting In preparing the accounts.
