Section D
Achievements and performance
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity
during the year
The Charity continued to operate from its premises in Ashwellthorpe,
using the Village Hall
This has been very Su￿ssIU1 during the current year.
From the 1st September 2020. the new school year, Bramble Bears
operated from the Village Hall on a sole 0￿upanCY basis. opening 5 days
a week, from 9am- 3pm.
This made it viable for more children locally and with that flexibility Ihe
number of attendan￿S has gradually increased.
The Trustee worked very hard in order to ensure this happened and that
it was a successful start to the new year, and despite Ihe difficulties thal
Covid-19 inflicted on Early Years Settings that has been regarded as a
major success for the Charity. It was a very difficult year, especially for
the children and thanks has lo be said to all the stafflcommittee member
for their COn￿rted efforts in making it as easy as possible, especially for
those children joining in September 2020.
The Charity also re￿iVed the agreement from the Village Hall that they
could extend the from Garden which tt did and this was a major success
also. The Charty purchased more outside toys in order to help develop
children's outside play.
