## Trustee’ Report

The past year has been very challenging as a member of staff took extended maternity leave. We are still part of the EL2 scheme, but interest has been low.

We are running at a loss currently because we have had lack of places taken up.

Staff have been advertising and liaising with the local authority updating on the waiting list situation.

No Fund raising has been attempted due to cost of living increase and parents expressing financial struggle. We hope plan for the future.

We hope the Member of staff will be returning soon which will mean e can take more children.

Ratios for 2 years have changed allowing 1 more child per adult so this will be a financial benefit as well as the hourly rate per child being increased from April 2024.
