Report of the Trustees on the Activities of the Charity
The Trustees present the Receipts and Payments Account of the Charity, in accordance with the adopted accounting policy, for the year ended 31 July 2025.
-
For the bulk of the year, the School Fund account is only used for: e Ongoing receipt of Government Childcare Vouchers, for which we receive no payment receipts and are reliant on receipt of bank statements to confirm receipt of funds.

e Ongoing receipt of cheques that were made out to “High Ash School” and could therefore only be banked into the School Fund account.

e Ongoing receipt of donations that require a registered charity bank account e Payment of occasional goods or services that benefit all pupils and go beyond the school’s statutory responsibility

Income for these activities totalled £46,426.56 split as: e £40,282.14 Wraparound income from childcare vouchers. This money will be transferred to the School Budget account

e £6,144.42 income or donations from the school by parents or other bodies
Expenditure included:

e £71,477.25 Transfer of income from Government Childcare Vouchers to the school’s main Local Authority-controlled account covering income from the previous and current year

e £34,515.07 for other services goods and services e =©£1,135.00 for administrative services
The year began with a balance of £85,893.98 in the account. As of 31 July 2025, funds in the School Fund account total £25,193.22
The trustees wouid like to thank all staff, parents and relations, and the children for the support given throughout the year.

Trustees Responsibilities
The Trustees are required to prepare Financial Statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the trust and of the surplus or deficit for that period. In preparing those Financial Statements, the Trustees are required to: -

Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently.

Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent.

State whether applicable accounting standards have been followed, subject to any material departures disclosed and explained in the Financial Statements.

Prepare the Financial Statements on the going basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the Trust will continue.
The Trustees are responsible for:

e Keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Trust.

e Safeguarding the Charity’s assets and hence for taking reasonable steps for prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF HIGH ASH CE COMBINED SCHOOL FUND
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of High Ash CE Combined School Fund (the Charity) for the year ended 31 July 2025.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the trustees of the Charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).
I report in respect of my examination of the Charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner’s statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
-
accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or
-
the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
