**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

With covid measures still in place at the start of this year, we did experience some staff shortages early on. These were handled and managed effectively with Pre-school staff covering one another and working extra hours where required with minimum disruption for the children and parents. Fundraising had a slow start for this year with our first event in December, combining forces with the local primary school. 

In April, the LA funding was increased by 17p per child  per hour. Our increase in income this year largely owed to this and more children attending the pre-school. Our Expenses also increased with the main reason being the cost of consumables and wages due to the National Living Wage increase in April. At this time, 1 additional member of staff was also recruited. 

The year ended in healthy financial position with cash funds of £43,720.
