Independent Examiner's Report to the
ANDOVER U3A CLUB, ANDOVER, Hampshire
This report on the accounts for the year ended 31° March 2025 is in respect of an examination carried out in accordance with the Charity Commissions Accounting Regulations 2006 and Section 43 of the Charities Act 1993.
Respective responsibilities of club and examiner
You are responsible for the preparation of the Financial Statements; you consider that the audit requirements of the Regulations and $43 Although the club (2) of the Act do not apply. It is my responsibility to issue this report on those Financial Statements in accordance with the terms of the Regulations.
Basis of this Report
Although the level of income for the club does not require it to consider registration with the Charity Commission nonetheless my examination was carried out in accordance with General Directions given by the Charity Commission under s43(7)(b) of the Act and to be found in their 2006 edition guidance. That examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the club and a comparison of the accounts with those records. It also includes any unusual items or disclosures in the Financial Statements. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by these accounts.
Independent examiner’s Statement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
- which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:
to keep accounting records in accordance with the Act;: and to prepare financial statements, which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the Act: have not been met; or
- to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of accounts to be reached.
