The advancement of education and the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development. **Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document** Andover u3s has 38 interest groups which provide a range of activities, in particular; walking groups, language groups, various interest groups and Quester groups that organise outings, which are of interest to the members.  In addition, there is a monthly meeting open to all members where there is a presentation by an outside speaker on a variety of subject with social interaction for those attending. Andover u3a provides a focus for over 400 members, who benefit greatly from the opportunities offered. **Summary of the main** Many of our members live on their own and the activities provided aid **activities undertaken for the** their mental health and contributes to their wellbeing and good physical **public benefit in relation to** health. **these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)**

Members pay a small annual membership fee to cover the cost of the monthly meetings, hall hire, speakers, and other administration cost, including a fee to the Third Age Trust (TAT).  In addition, individual group activities are paid for by group members. This makes the Andover u3a self-funding.

Our membership numbers have now fully recovered to their pre-Covid **Summary of the main** levels.  Monthly meetings are now once again fully supported, and all our **achievements of the charity** groups have resumed their normal activities. Three new groups have **during the year** recently been formed.  The 3 Quester groups have been able to organise a selection of interesting trips, including: Beamish - The Living Museum of the North of England Andover Museum Author Jane Austen’s House, Chawton, near Alton Naturalist Gilbert White’s House and Garden at Selborne Rodmarton Manor and the market town of Cirencester Museum of Army Flying - Middle Wallop Theatre - The Buddy Holly Show at The Lights in Andover

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ("the Trust") for the year ended
Responsibilities and
basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent IThe charity's gross income exceeded £250,000 and l am qualified to
examiner's statement undertake the examination by being a qualified member of [insert name of

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that
disclosed below ") which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act; or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
