The association was established for the provision and maintenance of a community hall for the use of the inhabitants of Kidwelly and the surroundings thereof without distinction of political, religious or other opinion including the use for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants. ## ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE The Trust is managed by a Board of Trustees. ## REVIEW OF ACTIVITIES The charity derived income from grants and various fundraising activities. The Trust provides the local community with a good sporting facility together with conference facilities. It has been difficult to operate due to the Covid-19 restrictions. ## TAXATION As a registered charity there is no tax liability arising out of the year’s trading ## FINANCIAL REVIEW During the year ended 31 March 2022 the charity received £16,468 (which included grants from public bodies of £6,639) and expended £29,647 including redundancy costs of £10,692 leaving a deficit for the year of £13,179.
