The Group Executive Committee has identified the major risks
to whlch they believe the Group is exposed, Ihese have been
reviewed and systems have been eslablished to mitigate
agalnst th8m. The maln areas of concem that have been
dentified are:
Damage to the buildlng. property and equipment. The Group
would ￿queSt the use of buildings. prop8ty and equlpm8nt
from neighbouring organisalions such as the church,
community ¢enlre and olher Scout Groups. Slmllar réciprocal
arrangemonis exisl with Ihese org8nisations. The Group has
sufficient buildings and contents Insurance in place to mitigate
against permanent loss.
Injury to18aders, helpers. supporters and membèrs. The
Group through the capitation f88s contrlbutes to the Scoul

Reduced Incom8 from fund rai$ing. The Group is primarl
rellant upon Income from subscriptions and fundraising. Tha
group does hold a resgrve lo ensure the contlnuity of actlvllies
should Ihere be a major r8ducllon In Income. The Commlttee
could ral8e th8 value of subscripllons to Increase the Income
lo the group on an ongolng ba818. elth8r t8mporarlly or
permanenlly.
Reduclion or Soss of leaders. Tho group is totally r8liant upon
volunteers lo run and admlnlster the activilles of the group. If
there was a reduction In the number of lead8rs lo an
unacceptable lev81 In a partlcular section or the group as a
whole Ihen there would hav8 to be a contraction, consolldatlon
or closure of a section. In Ihe worst case sc8nario th8
complete closure of thè Group.

for all young people aged 610 18. If there was a reduction In
