**Objects:** TO FURTHER THE VIABILITY OF THE LEWDOWN COMMUNITY BY PROMOTING THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE LEWDOWN AREA WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING WITH THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO IMPROVE THE PHYSICAL AND ECONOMIC CONDITIONS OF LIFE IN THE LEWDOWN AREA AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF LEWDOWN AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS.THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE NON-PARTY IN POLITICS AND NON-SECTARIAN IN RELIGION.THE ASSOCIATION SHALL HAVE THE POWER TO AFFILIATE TO OTHER ORGANISATIONS WITH SIMILAR CHARITABLE OBJECTS.
