In particular, Time Out Mission International is committed to

  1. Assist better quality of life especially for poor peoples of the world. This is through training and support of agricultural and business forums. These forums encourage a greater sense of community and helping one another, as well as the means to provide education and training in low cost, effective practical farming techniques, which are accessible to even the poorest peoples.

  2. To promote unity and cooperation in the Body of Christ in transforming communities

  3. To raise awareness of the Church’s bridal identity and the coming of the Lord Jesus as the Bridegroom King;

Summary of activities during the year include ongoing support for key ministries and individuals in various places around the world but in particular Africa. Teaching through conferences and seminars, and the support and development of agricultural forums in rural communities in East Africa. The overall emphasis of all activities has been in accordance with meeting the charity’s objects by advancing the Christian Faith, promoting unity across denominations, raising awareness of the Church’s bridal identity, and promoting better quality of life amongst the poor.

The Trustees have complied with the duty in section 4 of the 2006 Act having due regard on guidance on Public Benefit issued by The Charity Commission.

The charity keeps operating costs to an absolute minimum and therefore keeps a minimal amount of reserves, trusting that God will continue to provide resources for the continuation of the ministry.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES

I report on the financial statements of the Trust for the year ended 31 August 2023, which are set out on pages 3 to 5.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the trustees of the charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“The Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act.
