Activities during the financial period 2023.
During the year there was an increase in activities both in the UK and overseas. Following conferences being held for the first time in the UK in 2022 three further day conferences were held, as well as two longer 5 day conferences, one called an A school and the other a B school. All were well attended and in keeping with the charity objectives scholarships were offered for part of the costs. It was also encouraging to see the increase in activities in other countries, especially Pakistan. In Pakistan both an A and B school were held. Both were well attended. It was humbling to hear the testimonies of so many being transformed by encounters with Father’s love. Here for local participants many places are offered free and for others just a nominal charge, significantly below the coast. An A school was also held in Ghana.
These conferences help those following a Christian walk to deepen their spiritual awareness and relationship with God. As forgiveness is a key part, especially of the 5 day conferences, it benefits their mental health, improves relationships within family and others and gives them hope. This makes them a better person and causes them to act with more kindness, love and forgiveness to others, which benefits society as a whole .
The trustees are all aware of the guidance and have complied with the duty in section 4 of the 2006 Act in regard to guidance on public benefit published by the Charities Commission. In all of the above activities attendees who ask for help with costs assistance was generally provided, especially in poorer countries like Pakistan and Ghana.
The trustees met twice during the year to review finances and activities. During these meeting further policies were discussed and approved. Policies for Financial, Risk assessment & Data Protection/Confidentiality were reviewed and approved in the January meeting. Policies for Volunteers and Complaints were reviewed and after minor amendments approved at the October meeting.

RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to:-

to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act), and

BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is give as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
(1) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements
-
to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act and
-
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act have not been met, or
(2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn, in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
