FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2025
The Iruslees present their report with Ihe financial statements of the charity for the year ended
31 March 2025. The Irustees have adopted the prowsions of Accounting and Fieporling by Charities.,
Statement of Recommended Practice applicable lo charities preparing Iheir accounts in accordance wlth
the Flnanclal Reporting Standard applcable in the UK and Republlc of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective I
January 20191.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Objeetlves and aims
The proclarnalion and furthering of the gospel of God concerning hls son Jesus Chrlsl our Lord and the
preaching and teaching of the Christian Faith in Merthyr Tydfil and thw)ughout the Unbted Klngdom of Great
Britain and elsewhere.
SlgnSficant activltles
Regular weekly meelings on Sundays. Regular mid-week meetings. Special meelings al other locations
and venues as and when necessary.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Throughout the year the Church received n￿SICianS and slngers from Cardiff. Swansea, Neath and
Coventry lo assist In Ihe runnlng of Sunday services.
There were various Regwjnal Meellngs wilh chuf¢hes from across South Wales and Hounslow,
The Youlh Club for years 5 and 6 continues run and all his helpers, maklng inroads Into the local housing
Eslale. This has now been extended lo include pupils in the first year of high school.
June was ablaze wlh the gospel, with Ihe arrival of the Brazilian Youth Wrth A Mlssion team. The Charity
made sure they were well looked after and they were joined by our members on the streets proclaiming Ihe
gospel.
August saw the Charity run il's annual Family Fun Day wh￿h was weu attended by the local communlty and
familles from 811 over Merthyr Tydfil and beyond. Once Ihis was well altended and people were fu15y
engaged in the whole of the day.
The Church participated in the One Volce 24 conference. where many churches came together from across
the UK, Europe and North America and had Ihe opportunity to financially support projects across the worfd.
November brought Worldwatch where we once again meel with slster churches and See where we have
Invested in the Kingdom and learn of the blessings. persecution and 9wih of the church in other countrtes.
Over the Chdstmas period Ihe Charity held a series of evenls, Santa's Grotto and craft fayre and the annual
Carol Concert wilh the Tredegar Town Brass Band.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Reserves pollcy
While the Charity does not have a specrfic policy on reserves. Ihe main intent Is that the Charity should not
hold any such reseNes, other than thos8 needed to meet operational demands. Any surplus Is generally
used to support projects. or needs, al home or overseas.
Church members provide funds to the Charity through regular donallons. The charity does not engage in
any fundraising activlly.
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT

The charity is governed by the Declaration of Trust dated 21 Juty 1998.
Recrultrnent and appolntment of new trustees
The exlsling Iruslees selecl and appoint new Trustees as and when necessary under Ihe tems of sectlons
D1 and D2 ofthe Trust Deed.

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of Nationchangers Church (the Trust} for
the year ended 31 March 2025.

As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsibEe for Ihe preparatSon of the accounls in accordan
wilh the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,).
I report In respect of my examination of the Trusvs accounts carried oul under Section 145 of the Act and in
carrying out my examlnalion I have followed all appllcable Direclions glven by the Charity Commission
under Seclion 145(5)(bl of the Aci.
Indepondent examlnef6 statement
I have completed ry examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in
connedlon with the examination givlng me cause to bebeve that in any material respect..
accounling records were nol kept In respect ol the Trust as required ty Section 130 of the Act., or
the accounts do not accord ￿th those records; or
the accounts do not comply with Ihe applicable requirements concerning the form and conlenl of
accounls sel out in Ihe Charilies (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2C(18 other than any
requirement that the accounts give a Irue and fair view which is not a malter considered as part of an
independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection vlth lh8 examination to which
attentlon should be drawn In this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be

prepared In accordan￿ wilh the Charities SORP {FRS 102) 'Accounling and Reporting by Charilles..
Slalemenl of Recommended Pracuce applicable lo charilies preparing their accounts in accordance
wilh the Flnancial Reporting Standard appficabSe in the UK and Republic of Ireland {FRS 1021
(effective 1 January 2019),. Flnanclal Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland, and the Charilies Act 2011. The finandal statements
have been prepared under the hislorlcal cost convention.
Golng Concem
The ¢harity has sufflcient levels of unreslricted funds. totalllng £261,110 (2024- £256,733).
Income
All Income 58 recognised in the Statement of Financial Aclivitles once the charfty has entlllement to
Ihe funds, It Is probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliabty.
Expendlture
Liabilities are recognlsed as expenditure as soon as there is a legal or constnlGtive obllgalion
commiliing the charity to Ihal expenditure, il is probable Ihal a transfer of econom￿ benefits wlll be
required in settlement and the amount of Ihe obligats'on can be measured reliably. Expendlture Is
accounted for on an accruals basis and has been dassified under headings that aggregate all cost
related lo the category. Where costs cannol be directly attributed to particular headings they have
been allocated to 8clivilies on a basis Consistent with the use of resources.
