We have been blessed wlth faithful supporters and some important 8rarrts which together wlth the
Romanian fundraising operatlon has allowed all our work to continue in Romanla.
Due to the economlc 51tuatlon In the UK and the war in Ukralne. our operatlons and work hwe been
irnpacted. As a chartty our prlmary objects ￿malThed the same, wlth ￿th projects contlnulng to provkle

We afe pleased that Casa Lumlna continues to malntaln high levels of Indivlduallsed care and
development.

Bacau, Romanla. This project serves, Bacau County and the thiee surroundlng countles of Vasalui,
Neamts and Vrancea and provldes for 120 chlldren and young aduhs each month. Throughout the year
ending 31 Marth 2024. there has been contlnued provlslon, In Ilne wlth the Romanlan heatth servlce
guidance and laws.
The need for suth seNk*s contlnues to Brow In thls region and beyond and we hope to expand the
selvices fvrther In the near fu￿re wlth the help of our Romanlan partner Asodatla Lumlna. Thelr
director, Mihaela Dumltrathe has secured grants for Innovatl¥e work at the hosplce and withSn the
communlty of Bacau. Creatlve projects for chlklren and thelr parents and y)me local communlty
carnpaigns alxMrt dlsabllity.
. Casa Albert has become a base for supporters and volunteets fmm the UK to vislt and participate In
the activities of the charfty and thi5 has been essential ln provldlng Va￿•ble Income as well as, a
powerful experlence of the cornpasslonate care that Is at Ihe heart of Cry In The Da￿'S obieCttr￿.
Volunteers throughout the year have a150 helped wlth Ukralnlan refu8ees who were stayln8 at Casa
Albe¢ whkh had become a registe￿d refvgee horne.
The summer saw us welcome a group of Ukralnlan chlldren to partklpate in our summer hor￿aY camp.
The Christmas volunteets from the UK that Stayed at Casa Albert helped distribute over Christmas
shoeboxes and essential ahj to a Ukrainian orphanage.
loL￿￿￿15 our outreach proiert to a rural Rorna vllla8e In Bacau County and Is home to over IL
chiklren and around 21lJ farnllies.
We have been workln8 there for over 10 years and have bulft up a good worklng rektion5hlp wlth the
children and the adults Sn thls community.
