TrnsteelDirectors as a group, have a diverse set of skills that indiildually benefit the objectives of the charity.
Objectives and Activities
The Trust's prin]ary purpose is to promote for the inhabitants of Woolwell and the n￿g￿￿ll￿o0(L together defined by the
adtnillistrative area of the Parish oEBi¢kleigh, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation or race or of political, ￿lIgiOUS or
other opinions, by associating togetber with the said inhabithnts and the local authorities, voluw and other or8alli5atsons in a
Coll￿0n effort to adv8n¢e ¢du¢ation and to provide facilities in the iuterests of social welfare for recreation alld leisure-time
OGcupatioll with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inbabitants. and in particular to e5t&blish. or to secure
the establishment of a cornmunity centre and to maintsin and rnanage the same (whether alone or in co-opetstion with any
local authority or other person or Ix)dy) in of the Primary PutEM)se.
The Trustees have refeEred to the gUId￿e published by the Cbarity Commission on public benefit when reviewing the

Achievements and perfomanee
2025 has been a diffiwlt year for the Centre. Following on frotll 2024, business in all are&8 bas been hard fought for and
difficult to sustsin. We fouod that in every area io¢ome has decr&wd whilst individual costs bave continued to rise. There
have still beeo income successes due to diversification of events. In 2026 it will be imFmtive to c¢)ntinue to diversify for the
Cetttre to suThrive.

Music EvetLts- we catried on the Tnl)utr Ac(s in 2025 witb tbe artists being sourced frojn our existing specialist
Agent. We alsts ventured into aTrdDgillg a few llLUSiC events ourselvei These tlmied out to be just as popular with the
¢OllJllLUDity as tILe ones sourced througb the AgetLt. Auallwg our own thows allowed us to keep the ticket sale
proceeds as well as not payillg Agent fees therefore makmg the wlLole event more sustainable. We are going to ty
and cut down on expenses like this in 2026 al￿ use OUT own t￿￿￿t￿ce and gatlled expertise where we can.

which we are grndually building upoL There is defjnitely a market for inexpensive Wedding Parties where the cost
doesn't fall into tbe ￿"gher brdcket of rnost other establishn￿lts the area.
The Community Quiz bas gone from strength to strength in 2025. From the be￿nnIng of tbe year the attendance has
doubled with a good ￿ll￿ber of th¢ ¢omnJwty auendwg regularly 00 the firsi Friday of each montlL
We contillue to bold fre¢ events for com]nunity wbich bave included Stay & Play days. Bouncy Castle events.
Eagter Egg HunL CbristtDa3 Parties for ¢hildraL end of Sch(y)l Tern discos and a Cbristtnas Hog Roast for Adults.
These free events are always well attended and feedback frojn our conununity confim they very well received.

AMTrM Wraparound Scbool Club use decre￿￿ to Bickleigh Do￿1 Prin]ary School opening their own
Wrnparound Cbildcare Club. Revenue from this source fell from £74,743 in 2024 to £55,190 in 2025. This service
Ill lloi be sustainable if ihis rate of1055 continues.
Financial review
The Trustees met with the Centre Manager 8 titnes in 2025 to disc￿85 and rcview the Celltre's perfornwice al￿ conduct the
appri)priat¢ financial appraisals. The T￿￿teeS are aware of the continuing challenges that the Centre 15 facing with regards to
falling Incon￿ from parts of its core bu5ine55.
Despite overall expettditure decreasing ftom £215,626 in 2024 to £191,951 in 2025. at the end of 2025 The W(x)ITNell Centre
had mad¢ a total net loss ol- £30.649.
These figures do not include stsff costs.
Staff wage costs (iucluding AhUPM) for 2025 ThEre £255.008 OPEM)sed to £243.144 in 2024.
