During the year
The Trustees confirm that they have complied with the duty in section 4 of the a)arÈtses Act 2006 to have due
regard to public benefit guidance published bythe Charity Commission, in determining those charitie5 to which
grants are made.
TRUSTEES
The Trustees who served during the year were:
JE Donovan, MG Donovan, TM Townsend, KC Townsend, FCL Donovan
The minimum number of Trustees is two. Three present trustee5 were appointed at the formation of the Tru¥<
in May 1998. K Townsend and F Donovan were appointed on the retirement of Margaret Donovan,. and
reappolntments are made In accordaneÈ with the Trusr Deed, and present terrns of office a￿ for 4 years
Ms TM Donovan held office until 19 May 2024 when she was re-appointed for a further period of 4 years.
During the year MrJE Donovan resigned from his p05t due to ill health and sadly subsequently passed away. As
the founder and main benefactor of the Trust a special a¢knowledgment is made to his vision and generosity
along with the legacy that he lewies.

Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of
The Dandy Charitable Trust
I report on the accounts of The Trust for the year ended 30th June 2024, which are set out on
pages 2 to 5
Respective responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees
consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 (2) of the Charities Act 2011
(the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to .
Examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act
To follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity
Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 ACL and
To state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent Examiner's Report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity
Commission. An examination includes a revlew of the accounting records kept by the charity
and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration
of any unusual items or disclosures in the account& and seeking explanations from you as
trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence
that would be required in an audiL and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the
accounts present a 'true and fair view, and the report is limited to those matters set out in the
statement below.
Independent Examiner's Statement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
