## AGM Managers Report 2022/23 

## Monday 9[th] October 2023 

The Preschool utilisation for the year was very healthy. Both rooms began the year with high numbers, with the butterflies having only 1 full time place available and the caterpillars only having afternoon sessions available. By the summer term both rooms were at maximum numbers for mist sessions, only having the odd half day sessions available. 

Kids Club continued to go from strength to strength and by the summer term we had started the first ever kids club waiting list, what a fabulous position for us to be in. 

Miss Kate has played a pivotal role both at preschool and kids club over the past 12 months and as such was promoted to Deputy Manager in March (congratulations Miss Kate), she has since taken on more responsibility both at preschool and club and is continuing to learn more about the management of preschool. 

We had an extremely busy year with our Caterpillars and butterflies, as always taking part in lots of fun activities including, donating a harvest box to our friends at beech dene residential home, xmas parties, world book day, our fabulous book & bake sale, Easter competitions, a multitude of Coronation activities, our famous preschool trip day (we got soaked) and finishing off with a wonderful week of graduation celebrations. 

I could not let this report pass without mentioning our amazing Ofsted outcome, I could not be anymore proud of our team and the hard work put in by every single person who was there on the day. The report really did reflect what Westwood Preschool is about! 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the committee members who are standing down for their support of the preschool and kids club, 10 years is an incredible amount of time to dedicate to us and we will forever be grateful. 

To our new committee members and particularly our Chair person Charlotte, you hard work over the past 6 months has been absolutely amazing and we are all excited to see what the future holds. 

Finally, I would like to thank my fantastic team for their hard work, passion and dedication, day in, day out no matter what, you are all my superheroes.
