**Objects:** TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON THE PROMOTION OF SPECIALIST MUSIC EDUCATION AMONGST CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND OTHER AWARDS.
